Pulling together multiple concepts behind my work in A Delicate Balance, this performance includes African inspired drumming by Yeah Yeah Yeahs drummer Brian Chase (in homage to the colors in my paintings inspired by African fabrics and crafts) on a backdrop of minimalistic tones. Meg Clixby, Kerry Davis and Leah Retherford perform reworked hand gestures from my paintings of hysterical women as inspired by Hollywood films.
